The website has been designed, built, written and hosted by TMP Worldwide on behalf of GCHQ, part of the UK's Security Services. By using or accessing any part of this website you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

TMP and GCHQ will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the information on this site is accurate but make no representations or warranties as to accuracy and accept no liability for the same.

The copyright and material on this website is owned by GCHQ and protected by the copyright laws of the United Kingdom. Users will be entitled to copy any such information for their own personal use but may not republish, transmit, store, reproduce, communicate or make available to the public any such information in any manner.

To the extent permitted by law, neither TMP nor GCHQ shall have any liability for any direct or indirect loss, damage, costs, expenses or claims whether in contract or tort (including but not limited to negligence) or otherwise arising out of the misuse of the contents of your application by a third party either before, during or after the transfer of such information to the recruiter or otherwise arising out of your use or inability to use the site or the information or services contained on it.

Without limit to the foregoing and insofar as permitted in each relevant jurisdiction neither TMP nor GCHQ gives any warranty, either express or implied, as to the site or its contents including but not limited to any warranties as to non infringement. Neither TMP nor GCHQ are responsible for the contents or reliability of any linked websites and do not necessarily endorse the views expressed within them. If any of these terms and conditions are illegal, invalid or unenforceable this shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining terms and conditions.

The relationship between you and TMP and GCHQ shall be governed by English law and you agree to submit all disputes to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

Personal data

Personal data will be collected from you when you apply online and your personal data will be used to manage your registration and application. TMP and GCHQ will use your information for the purposes of administering the services in connection with this site. Personal data will be processed fairly and lawfully in adherence to the Data Protection Act 1998. Reasonable and appropriate measures are taken to ensure that your personal data (including the information in your CV) is protected from unauthorised access or modification, unlawful destruction and improper use. However, the internet is an open system and neither TMP nor GCHQ can and do guarantee that the personal information you have submitted will not be intercepted by others and decrypted. No information provided by you through this site will be made available to third parties. Equal Opportunity information will play no part in the selection process. Personal data will not be transferred to any country outside the UK.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your information is accurate and kept up to date. If you provide details of a referee, it is your responsibility to ensure that the person is aware that you have forwarded his/her details and is happy for you to do so. Personal data relating to your application will be kept for up to 12 months. If you are unsuccessful, this data will be destroyed after 12 months. If you wish to remove your application details before this time, please email us at recruitment@gchq.gsi.gov.uk and we will be happy to do so. If you are successful, your data will be retained by GCHQ. If our privacy commitment is changed, such changes will be posted here so that you will always know what information is gathered, how such information may be used and whether such will be disclosed to anyone.
